Please note, Google Guaranteed is part of Local Service Ads, which is different from Google Ads. It works through your Google Business Profile and is only available to local businesses. To become Google Guaranteed, you’ll also need to set up Local Service Ads.
Becoming Google Guaranteed helps build trust with customers and enhances your visibility on Google Search and Maps. To qualify for this status, you’ll need to provide two essential documents and proof of insurance
CRN or VAT ID
- Company Registration Number (CRN): If you’re a registered company, you’ll need your CRN issued by Companies House during company formation. A document showing your company name and CRN will be required.
- VAT Tax ID: If you're a sole trader or small business, your unique VAT Tax ID is necessary.
Proof of Insurance
- A certificate of insurance proving your liability coverage and expiry date is required. Google has specific minimum coverage amounts depending on your occupation, such as £250,000 for carpet cleaners.
By meeting these requirements, you’ll be on your way to becoming Google Guaranteed, giving your business more visibility and trust with potential customers.
